The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber, Abdulhakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi, received Mohammed bin Suleiman Al-Qarnas, the Head of the National Retirees Associationin the Eastern Region branch, on Tuesday 17 July 2018. The meeting was attended by the retired Major General, Abdulrahman Al-Ghanim, and Abdullah Al-Khalid, Public Relations and Media Coordinator.
During the meeting, they reviewed a number of programs that the Chamber and the Association can cooperate to provide support for them. They discussed importance of benefiting from the expertise of the Association in various economic and social fields.
Al-Khaldi pointed out that the association is full of energied that have made great bids for the country and are still able to give their expertise based on the experiences they possess, the most prominent administrative expertise.
Al-Khalidi explained that Asharqia Chamber and the business sector in the Region are very keen to attract such expertise, especially since many of them became-after the end of the official working period-in the acquisition of skills and engaging in self-programs and also full-time to practice their own business in many areas. In addition, they are benefiting from the development of information, knowledge and technology, which earn them an additional advantage through which they can serve the business sector.
Moreover, Al-Qarnas praised the initiatives offered by the Chamber and its keenness to support the Association and its members.
He pointed out that this cooperation will result in new activities that will serve all parties and will provide the real face of the Association and the abundance of competencies, which emphasizes the non-stop tender and importance of participation and development.
Al-Qarnas said that the meeting reviewed ways to strengthen the relationship between the Chamber and the Association, as well as discussing about the most prominent events that can be provided by the Association in order to confirm the active participation.
